Landscaping & Horticultural Careers

We’re always on the look-out for talented gardeners & landscapers to join us in the nurturing and development of our portfolio of beautiful town and country gardens, including estate gardens of particular historic note.

Successful candidates join our team undertaking professional garden care, realising planting schemes, installing hard & soft landscapes and work on full garden design projects. Working with us means you’ll have a significant role in implementing design projects and mastering horticultural care and landscaping plans, whilst working alongside an award-winning Chelsea designer on a number of projects.

If you’re self-motivated with a drive to deliver first-rate gardens and garden care, a strong communicator with a flexible and positive approach to tasks and you enjoy sharing your skills and knowledge with a wider team, then please get in touch to talk about potential careers.

We’re a friendly team and this echoes The Oxfordshire Gardener’s philosophy of providing excellent, attentive, yet approachable and friendly service.

Life at The Garden Barn:

The Garden Barn is the hub of The Oxfordshire Gardener. Under the eaves of this gorgeously designed converted barn we gather to exchange news, pore over plans and set the day’s agenda. Set overlooking our own courtyard garden, complete with raised vegetable beds, flower beds and seasonal container displays, the view opens out beyond the garden gates into the rolling meadows and wooded ridges, making it a truly inspirational place to meet in the mornings or work on training days.

The company provides a training budget for each staff member as well as our own in-house training and development plans tailored to each individual’s specific areas of specialism, interest and development goals.

Employees are provided with 22 days holiday + bank holidays, pension, company uniform and PPE.

The company is continuing to develop their portfolio and now would be a very exciting time to join our expanding team of intrepid gardeners, managing some of the most exceptional gardens in the area.

If you have a passion for gardens, horticulture and good design, then we’re a successful company that can and will take your career to the next level, please do not hesitate to forward your CV and covering letter to:
