Great Milton Garden

The Great Milton garden design, with hard and soft landscaping, was commenced in this pretty Oxfordshire village following an extension that was built onto the main house.

The main terrace and steps from the rear and side of house lead down to the garden. The option of a rill or planted border to the terrace was explored and the design combined the desire for water and planting close to the house with a Travertine water scene, linear box hedge, shrubs and perennials. Semi-mature pleached hornbeam was planted to create an instant verdant backdrop.  The travertine terrace was constructed with hardwood to the perimeter.
